How Do Sewer Systems Work? (2024)

For this project, I designed three short books based on a given prompt—one using only words, one using only images, and one combining both. I selected "How does a sewer system work?" The passage’s simplicity made it both a challenge to tackle and an opportunity for creative exploration. Each book ended up following a different theme: text only book describing the sensory experience in a sewer, image only book contrasting the ancient and urban city planning, and text+image book exploring the abstract motif that compares sewer to women and nudity.
