Hello!

I’m Angela (or you may know me by my Chinese name Yuyu 刘钰玉)

I am a junior pursuing a BA in Communication Design with a minor in Film and Media Studies and a minor in Human Computer Interaction from Washington University in St. Louis.

I hail from China but have traversed the globe. The opportunity to witness and participate in different cultures has offered me invaluable experiences. It enabled me to observe the relationship between people and envrionment deeply and build a unique insight of the world that has shaped me into the person I am today.

I love the interplay between design, technology, and storytelling — to create something meaningful and magical.

Internet and video game cultures are also integral parts of my artistic identity. I have a soft spot for the silly, surreal, and downright absurd corners of the web.

Music is also a huge influence on me, whether consciously or not. I carry my headphones everywhere, constantly cycling through different genre phases. Currently in my metal and rock era.
